Pedro Ferreira has a Master's degree in Monetary, Banking and Financial Economics (EEG-UMinho) and a degree in Economics (FEP-UPorto). Throughout his academic career he won the Academic Merit Award given by the UMinho School of Economics and Management to the student with the highest final average grade in his Master's course. His dissertation guaranteed him recognition by Euronext Lisbon, which awarded him the Best Scientific Research on Portuguese Capital Markets – Master’s Thesis in the 5th edition of the Euronext Lisbon Awards.
His professional career involved positions associated with management control and financial management of companies.
His taste for lifelong learning and desire to requalify has dictated the obtaining of certifications awarded by, e.g., Microsoft, and IEFP.
