Cláudia S. Sarrico é Professora Catedrática de Gestão na Escola de Economia e Gestão da Universidade do Minho e investigadora sénior do Centro de Investigação de Políticas do Ensino Superior. Anteriormente, exerceu funções de analista de políticas de ensino superior e ciência na OCDE.
Foi professora associada do ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa (2010-2021). Em 2014/15, fez um ano sabático como visiting fellow do Grupo de Investigação Operacional da Warwick Business School. É licenciada em Engenharia e Gestão Industrial pela Universidade de Aveiro (bolsa Erasmus na Université de Lyon III, França e bolsa Commett na Universität Freiburg, Alemanha) e doutorada em Gestão pela Warwick Business School. Foi assessora da Presidência da FCT, assessora do Gabinete de Estudos e Análise da Agência de Avaliação e Acreditação do Ensino Superior e professora auxiliar da Universidade de Aveiro (2000-2010). Foi ainda analista no grupo de estatística e investigação operacional da Royal Mail Consulting e cientista na Unidade de Gestão da Cadeia de Fornecimento da Unilever Research. Fez o seu projecto final de licenciatura no FhG-ISE, Instituto Fraunhofer de Sistemas de Energia Solar, Freiburg, Alemanha.
