Holds a PhD in Political Science, specialization in International Relations, by Sciences Po (Paris). Jaques Delors prize in 2005 for her research about the European Union and Russia. Head of the MA in International Relations.
Collaborated with the Embassy of Portugal, Moscow, during the Portuguese Presidencies of the EU in 2007 and 2021; trained diplomats from the Persian Gulf countries in Riyadh, 2009, and Portuguese diplomats, since 2016; integrated a diplomatic roundtable in Geneva, 2010; appointed by the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs to join the jury for diplomatic career access, 2015; responsible for the creation and coordination of the executive course for access to the Diplomatic Career, UminhoExec, since 2016; member of the Executive Board of the Portuguese Political Science Association (APCP).
Auditor of the National Defense Course of IDN (2003-2004). Guest lecturer in postgraduate studies: Free University of Brussels (ULB), the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), the University of Economics of Izmir (Turkey), the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the Jagiellonian University (Poland), the University of Lapland (Finland) and the University of Tartu. Visiting research fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), Brussels (2007-2009).
