We are pleased to announce the EEGConnect with José Tavares (Nova SBE), that will present the book under the topic "A Europa não é um país estrangeiro". The presentation will be attended by the author,
José Tavares, Nova SBE Full Professor, followed by a debate with the presence of
Isabel Estrada, Member of the European Parliament and Associate Professor at EEG (UMinho) and moderation by
Fernando Alexandre, Associate Professor at EEG (UMinho).

About the book:

Author’s Biography:
José Tavares earned his doctorate in Economics at Harvard University, specialising in Political Economy. He is a Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics and affiliate researcher at the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London. His academic work has been commented in newspapers such as Time Magazine, New York Times, Handelsblatt and La Repubblica, among others. He co-organised with Francesco Caselli and Mário Centeno the volume After The Crisis: Reform, Recovery, and Growth in Europe.
