The School of Economics and Management had a full house on October 19th to attend the presentation of the book "Manual de Economia Política" by Francisco Louçã and Mariana Mortágua. The joint action between the School of Economics and Management and Bertrand, inserted in EEG Transferable Skills Development Program (EEGenerating Skills), made known a new tool that, throughout four hundred and seventy-one pages and three parts, can complement the knowledge in several areas.
The opening session was in charge of the EEG's Dean, Professor Cláudia Simões, followed by the intervention of Jorge Garcia, Director of Bertrand Editora, Francisco Louçã, and the discussion and critical analysis of Fernando Alexandre, EEG's Professor of the Economics Department.
The session included about 100 students, professors, and researchers from various scientific areas, who at the end of the session had the opportunity to ask their questions to the author of the book.
