UMinhoExec today initiates the specialized
training course for Tax Authority Managers, tailor-made for the Tax and Customs
Authority, with a view to qualifying more than 740 Tax Authority Managers.
The objective of the course is the preparation
and theoretical and practical training of the trainees and the development of
skills (knowledge, attitudes and professional behaviour) with a view to the
efficient and effective performance of the functions of a Tax Manager.
The session, chaired by Cláudia Simões,
President of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho
and Beatriz Casais, Director of UMinhoExec, was attended by Helena Borges,
Director-General of the Tax and Customs Authority, and Paulo Sanches Seguro,
President of the Jury of the Tax Authority Managers' Course.
The course, developed in collaboration with
ISCTE – IPPS - Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa,
has a duration of 90 hours and is composed of 3 modules: Management, Leadership
and Technical-Instrumental and will award 18 ECTS.
The course is coordinated by Miguel Ângelo
Rodrigues, Professor of the Department of Political Science of the School of
Economics and Management of the University of Minho.
