Tiago Guilherme, who graduated in Political
Science from EEG in 2017, gave a lecture at the School of Economics and
Management of the University of Minho on 10 October 2023, in the dst
Auditorium, as part of the cycle of lectures entitled AlumniTalk@eeg of the EEG
Transversal Skills Development Programme (EEGenerating Skills). The event was presented by Professor Sandrina
Antunes of the Political Science Department.
At the event, Tiago Guilherme spoke about his
professional career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the
Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and later at the European Union (EU) in the
Permanent Representation of Portugal, where he accompanied the Youth and Sport
Working Groups during the Portuguese Presidency of the EU Council. Tiago
currently works for the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth, and is also a
project and policy manager at ENGSO Youth (European Non-Governmental Sports
Organisation), working in Belgium (Brussels) and Portugal.
