The University of Minho was a partner in the Azores Carbon
Neutrality Roadmap (RNCA), with work coordinated by three professors from the Economics
Department of the School of Economics and Management, Rita Sousa, João
Cerejeira and Francisco Carballo Cruz. This Roadmap aims to establish
strategies to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. The final conference took
place on November 10, 2023, in the auditorium of the Regional Civil Engineering
Laboratory for Carbon Neutrality in the Azores, in Ponta Delgada, and the
Roadmap is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
