An entourage from the Brazilian Army led by Colonel Márcio
Gabriel Ribeiro, Head of the Army's Institute of Economics and Finance, visited
EEG on November 8 and 9, 2023. On November 8, the entourage met with EEG/UMinho
President Cláudia Simões and EEG Vice-President Maria do Céu Arena to renew the
strategic partnership between the two institutions. This partnership began in
2012. On November 9, the larger an entourage, led by Army General Sérgio da
Costa Negraes, continued its work to find new formats for collaboration, and
met with VRT Prof Filomena Soares at the UMinho Rectory in the afternoon of
November 9, 2023.
