EEG students challenged to participate in the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge 2025 Back

The School of Economics, Management, and Political Science (EEG) invites its students to form teams and participate in the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge 2025, an international competition that provides a unique and practical experience in financial market investment.Throughout the challenge, teams of 3 to 5 students, accompanied by a supervising professor, will compete against universities from around the world, using the Bloomberg Terminal to:
  • Define market assumptions;
  • Develop a return strategy;
  • Execute transactions on a closed network.
The winning team will be the one that achieves the best time-weighted relative return against the Bloomberg World Large, Mid & Small Cap Price Return (WLS Index).

Key dates 📅

  • Applications until: October 5, 2025
  • Start of the challenge: October 13, 2025
  • Deadline for submitting initial positions: October 17, 2025
  • End of challenge: November 15, 2025
  • Announcement of winners: November 21, 2025
