The School of Economics, Management and Political Science of the University of Minho invites the entire academic community, especially first-year students and anyone who is not yet familiar with the resources of the University of Minho libraries, to participate in the session "EEGConnect: Presentation of the UMinho Libraries", which will take place on 7 October at 2:30 p.m. in the EEG dst Auditorium.
Promoted by the Documentation Services of the University of Minho, this session aims to present and explain the functioning of the UMinho Libraries, the main services and resources available, with special emphasis on the organisation and distribution of the document collection, the home loan service (including request, renewal and reservation procedures), searching the University of Minho's bibliographic catalogue, as well as access to RepositóriUM and RCCAP – Portugal's Open Access Scientific Repository.
There will also be a reference to other useful services that support the academic and scientific activity of the student community.
The presentation will be given by Dr. Cristina Gonçalves, Senior Technician responsible for the Technical Processing area.
Admission is free and open to all interested parties.
