Joel
Ricardo Abelhas was distinguished by the Portuguese newspaper "Jornal de
Negócios" and the Portuguese Investment, Pensions and Property Funds
Association (APFIPP) with the "Best Academic Dissertation" award for
his Master's thesis entitled: "Analysis of the breakeven of Retirement
Savings Plans," carried out within the context of his Master's Degree in Monetary, Banking and
Financial Economics of the School of Economics and Management, University of
Minho, under the guidance of Professors Fernando Alexandre and Cristina Amado,
of the Economics Department of the School of Economics and Management.
The
Prize was awarded on September 29th, 2022, in the ceremony of the Best Funds
Awards of Jornal de Negócios/APFIPP (8th Edition).
