On Friday 11 April, the School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho held the session "Artificial Intelligence in Teaching: Sharing an Experience" dedicated to exchanging ideas and good practices on the pedagogical integration of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.
The session is available on EEG's official YouTube channel at

.
Aimed at the academic community, the initiative was intended to encourage critical reflection on the potential and challenges of using AI in a teaching/research context, with a focus on practical application in the classroom.
Led by Miguel Portela, Professor in EEG's Economics Department, experiences of using AI tools adapted to the nature of a course unit were shared. Far from technical training, the meeting centred on the presentation of strategies to stimulate student involvement through the responsible and creative use of technology.
Among the points highlighted were the creation of personalised GPTs based on ChatGPT, the formulation of effective prompts and the development of approaches that enhance students' active participation.
The session stood out as another step in EEG's commitment to pedagogical innovation and critical monitoring of the digital transformation in higher education.
