Cláudia Simões and Elisabete Sá attended the Unique Summit in Braga

Cláudia Simões and Elisabete Sá, professors of the School of Economics and Management, participated in the Unique Summit that took place on 28, 29, and 30 November 2022, at the Altice Forum in Braga and was attended by His Excellency the President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Cláudia Simões, President of the School of Economics and Management moderated the session on the theme "Roundtable "Technology transfer and its impact on innovation", which counted with the panel composed by Eugénio Ferreira, Vice-Rector of the University of Minho for Research and Innovation, Carlos Ribas, Administrator of Bosch Portugal and Paulo Freitas, Executive Director of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL).
Elisabete Sá, professor of the EEG Management Department, integrated the organization team of this Summit, which also included a group of students from the School of Economics and Management, in the event support staff.
Unique Summit is a global initiative that brings together ecosystems from around the world and aims to connect innovation ecosystems outside the major poles, strengthen collaborations and foster new economic opportunities, strategic collaborations, and job creation through the creation of partnerships between startups, investors, companies and StartupCities and generate opportunities in creating relevant dynamics to attract different key players - investors, local authorities and companies.
