Master in Accounting

  APPLICATIONS

Holders of our Master in Accounting should be highly skillful and competent in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation related complex matters in top public or private institutions, national or international, in very dynamic and competitive settings thereby contributing to an ever more global economy. It accommodates the needs of recent graduates wishing to be experts in Accounting, and, in particular, Chartered Accountants, Auditors, Taxation Inspectors, Accounting Lecturers and Researchers. The study plan combines and blends the practical with the research component​.​​​

Specialization Diploma: Completing the academic part of the course guarantees you the opportunity to apply for your Specialization Diploma in Accounting.

The UC "Data Analysis and Transferable Skills" requires the attendance of modules credited to the course in the EEG DataPro programme and the EEGenerating Skills programme, which may run outside of the Scheduled Class.

Formal requirements


- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Public Administration and related fields, obtained in either Portuguese or foreign universities.
- Holder of a foreign academic degree conferred following a first cycle organized according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a state that implemented this Process.
- Holder of a foreign academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of a degree by the competent scientific body of the institution of higher education in which will be admitted.
- The Scientific Council of the EEG may permit the application for registration, under a proposal from the Board of the course, holders of other degrees not listed as qualifying for access to the course, provided that their school, scientific and professional curriculum shows adequate scientific preparation that allows the performance of this cycle of studies.
