The Mentoring programme EEGuiding Your Way aims to link EEG’s students to successful and experienced professionals in EEG’s academic fields, namely EEG’s Alumni.
The goals of the programme are:
- To involve mentors in the academic and professional enrichment of current EEG students;
- To provide the exchange of experience and knowledge between professionals and students;
- To foster the development of personal and professional skills that complement students' academic background;
- To facilitate students' privileged contact with professional opportunities as well as the development of a contact network.
Mentoring is thus a development tool in which the relationship between Mentor and Mentee is established:
- the
Mentor – a former EEG student - will support someone less experienced (the mentee) by sharing their personal and professional experience, favouring networking, contributing to developing transferable skills and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence.
- the
Mentee – an EEG student - will develop valuable insights into the professional world that will help them make informed career choices and understand the practical applications of their areas of study.
