Sandra Cerqueira holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Minho, finishing her degree at the University of Central Arkansas. She also holds an MBA from Porto Business School and completed the curricular part of the Master's Degree in Health Care Units from University of Minho.
Throughout her professional career she worked at AICEP – Agency for Foreign Investment and Trade of Portugal, in national textile companies and in the Internationalization Office of AEP - Associação Empresarial de Portugal, where she was responsible for the implementation, operationalization and management of a permanent showroom for 16 national companies of the Fileira Casa-Decoração in New York, USA.
In 2007 she joined ALERT Life Sciences Computing, a multinational company dedicated to the creation of the global clinical information system ALERT® , where she held the position of Project Advisor and Trainer of the pre-sales teams of the Group's subsidiaries and international partners.
Between 2015 and 2017 she was Administrator of BRAVAL, a multi-municipal company for the valorization and treatment of solid waste.
Currently holds the position of Executive Director of the municipal company Transportes Urbanos de Braga.
