Carla Freire, Professor at the Management Department
of the Economics and Management School of the University of Minho, published a
book about Responsabilidade Social Corporativa, uma abordagem Prática em
Timor-Leste (Corporate Social Responsibility, a Practical Approach in
Timor-Leste), in co-authorship with Manuel Brito, professor at the Business
School of the Timorese Catholic University.
Corporate Social Responsibility is a subject that has
deserved much attention from academics and practitioners in the last decades.
This book aims to be a good tool for the study of Corporate Social
Responsibility as it presents several perspectives and theoretical frameworks
on the subject and presents a case study developed in foreign companies
operating in Timor-Leste. In short, this book is intended for students,
researchers and professionals interested in the study of the subject or its
implementation in the business context.
