Rocha Armada, retired full professor at the School of Economics and Management
and emeritus professor of the University of Minho received on 11 May, from the
hands of the pro-rector, Miguel Bandeira, the "Career" Award in the
26th edition of the "A Nossa Terra" Awards.
The Awards
"A Nossa Terra" consist in an initiative aiming the public
recognition to the merit of citizens and entities which have stood out in
relevant actions in favour of the community, the municipality, the region or
the country, in their several acting sectors, thus contributing for a greater
dignification and prestige of the good name of Braga.
The event
is part of the innovative concept of regional disclosure "A Nossa Terra",
responsible for projects of recognised utility and impact in the communities
where it is inserted. The Jury includes hundreds of individuals and entities
representing the most varied areas and political, religious, cultural, social
and artistic sensibilities, allowing the desired breadth and exemption.
