Almedina Awards
The Bookstore Almedina assigns annually an award to the best student fellow of each UMinho's School and Institute within the aim of a Protocol signed with the University of Minho.
The gift voucher Almedina, signified to acquire books, is accompanied by a publication of the Bookstore Almedina in the winners' scientific area of study.
Braga Lions Clube Awards
The Braga Lions Club has been offering in recent years, 50 scholarships to needy students pursuing their education at the University of Minho. The scholarship has been exceeding the sum of 50 000 euros. These scholarships are managed by the Emergency Social Fund of the University of Minho.
