X-Culture is a large-scale international experiential learning project aimed at allowing for first-hand experience in international business collaboration and business consulting (https://x-culture.org/).

In the last edition of the project, a total of 6013 students from 652 universities in 102 countries participated. Students are placed in international teams of 5-6 people in international business challenges of companies from different countries. This year, 61 students from EEG participated in this project within the course of International Marketing and Strategy from de Master of Marketing and Strategy and International Marketing of the International Business.

A total of 975 reports were submitted in this round of the X-Culture competition. Usually, the 25 best teams are selected but due to the high quality of the submitted reports this year, 28 teams were elected out of 75 pre-selected reports. Five EEG students have been distinguished! Several other students have been pre-selected for best team and, overall, the quality of participation of UMInho students has been remarkable at various levels (including peer-evaluations, team leadership and report grades).

All the participants are to be congratulated for having accepted the challenge to get involved in a new Project and work online with an international team. They completed all the rounds of the project and submitted the final report. All have been successful in dealing with the values, language and time zones differences as well as the difficulties and learning process of international cooperation. As a result, they gained a valuable cultural experience.
