Beatriz Casais awarded the EEG 2023 Research Prize

Beatriz Casais
, a professor in the Management Department of the School of Economics and Management at the University of Minho (EEG), was awarded the EEG 2023 Research Prize in the area of Management for her article "Micro, macro and mega-influencers on instagram: The power of persuasion via the parasocial relationship", published in the Journal of Business Research.
The Prize was awarded at the commemorative session of the EEG's 42nd Anniversary, which took place on March 12, 2024 at the Gualtar Campus in Braga, and recognizes the importance and rigour of research in the field of Management.
This prize is awarded annually to an EEG lecturer or researcher who is the author of the article most voted for by the presidents of the scientific councils of the country's main schools and faculties in the areas of Economics, Management and Political Science.
This recognition underlines EEG's commitment to promoting excellence in research and its practical application to society.
