Pedro Carreira holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto - ISEP). His professional career began, in 1988, at Mabor. In 1989 it was created a joint venture between Mabor and the German company Continental, from which Continental Mabor derived, and where Pedro Carreira, between 1990 and 2005, lead several Technical and Production areas. Between 2005 and 2010 he was General Director at Continental Camaçari - Brazil, and from 2010 to 2013 he led Continental in Timisoara - Romania. Since September 2013, Pedro Carreira is CEO at Continental Mabor, SA, which main activity is tire manufacturing. Continental Mabor, SA is the fourth largest Portuguese exporter, with a turnover of more than 800 million euros and sales to more than 60 countries (2016 data).
