EuroMed paid tribute to EEG Alumna

The EuroMed Research Business Institute has announced that the best paper award presented at the
Annual EMAB Conference
will be named after Gisela Alves.
Gisela Maria Maia Alves
held a Master's Degree in Marketing and Strategic Management and a PhD in Marketing and Strategy from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho (EEGIUMinho). She was a professor and researcher in the marketing area at EEGIUMinho. She participated in several annual EMAB conferences where she presented her ongoing research work. She won the best article award in 2018. In 2019, she fell victim to prolonged illness and her outstanding projects and promising career were tragically interrupted. The organisation of the conference this year named the award after Gisele Alves as a tribute and international recognition for her frequent participation.
