Twenty-one students from the School of Economics and
Management received the Excellence Scholarship awarded by the University of
Minho, with a monetary value equal to the tuition fee.
UMinho has been awarding Excellence Scholarships to students
of all bachelor and master degrees who, under the terms of the current diploma,
obtained the best grade in their academic year or course, as long as it is
equal to or higher than 17 out of 20 points.
The attribution of these scholarships began in 2012 and
represents an accumulated investment of over one and a half million euros, to
recognize the academic work of its students.
The delivery session for the Excellence Scholarships took
place on June 21 at the A1 Auditorium of the University of Minho, on the
Gualtar campus, in Braga, with the presence of the Dean, Rui Vieira de Castro,
of the Vice-Rector for Education, Laurinda Leite and the President of the
Academic Association (AAUM), Rui Oliveira.
