The School of Economics and Management (EEG) says
goodbye to their Erasmus students from different countries, like Cyprus, Italy,
Turkey, Colombia, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Spain, Germany,
France, Luxembourg, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco and Brazil, that through the last
school by year, attended EEG in the ambit of Erasmus + and Erasmus + ICM
(International Credit Mobility) and in the ambit of the Acordos de Cooperação
com o Brasil.
The international students exchange integrated the
strategy of the School of Economics and Management. The exchange programs
facilitate and promote interculturality and allow the sharing of new
experiences and the exchange of knowledge among the different students with
different nationalities.
Among the ones who ended their
path through EEG of UMinho, some wanted to leave us their testimony about their
Erasmus experience on EEG of UMinho. Luca Cicuto, from Italy highlights “ the
acquisitions of knowledge, the excellent environment, the disponibility of all
the professors from the different departments, always willing to hear and help
on the assignments”. Ricardo Lopes Moura, Luso-Luxembourg, adds “the teaching
methods were even more interactive”. Marcela Atehortua, from Colombia said that
“Studying in Portugal has been a breath of fresh air, refreshing and freeing.
The professors and the staff of UMinho are the best thing a Erasmus + student
can ask for. I have never felt so at home, while being abroad.”. Tekin Yiğithan
Okçu, from Turkey, was counting that the experience of living abroad would be
difficult, but that didn’t happen. “I easily fitted in the Braga lifestyle, and
made a lot of friends, that I will never forget.” he adds.
