The School of Economics
and Management of University of Minho received its Alumnus Tiago Neves,
Executive Director at the Asset Management Division of Goldman Sachs, in the
scope of the AlumniTalks@eeg lectures, inserted in the EEG Transversal Skills
Program (EEGenerating Skills). Fernando Alexandre, professor of the EEG
Economics Department, moderated the session.
The initiative aims to bring back to EEG
graduated professionals to share with current students their professional
paths.
Tiago Neves has a
degree in Economics by the School of Economics and Management from UMinho, a Master
in Finance by Nova Business School and a Post-Graduation in Mathematical
Finance.
He joined the Risk Division of Goldman Sachs in
2020 as Managing Director to oversee regulatory risk in the UK and South
Africa. He recently joined the Asset Management division of Goldman Sachs.
Prior to GS, he served as Senior Manager in Risk Advisory at EY and as Risk
Analytics Quantitative at Credit Suisse. Tiago started his career at Banco
Espírito Santo in the Department of Financial Markets and Research.
