The School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho (EEG) is hosting the EEGConnect session on May 3, 2024, at 10 a.m., in the EEG's dst auditorium, under the topic "Desafios da imigração e o paradigma das cidades portuguesas".

This round table, promoted as part of the Jornadas em Economia Social, will include presentations by Sadatina Dias, from the Association of Senegalese Immigrants in Portugal, Priscila Nazareth Corrêa, a lawyer in private international law, and David Rodrigues, co-founder of Kamwork, who will discuss the challenges associated with immigration in Portugal, how cities, through social institutions, have contributed to the process of receiving, welcoming and integrating immigrants, and the technological challenges and opportunities in this area (the case of the Kamwork project).

The session is part of the series of lectures entitled EEGConect@eeg, promoted as part of the EEG Transversal Skills Development Program (EEGenerating Skills).

This session will take place in Portuguese.
