Students Clara Sofia Abreu Barros, Marta Valério Martins and Rui Pedro Gomes Silva were awarded the best presentation of their session at the
15th edition of the International Congress of Teaching Cases in Public and Non-Profit Marketing
, which was held online with the joint organization of the
University of León
in Spain and the
University of the Pacific
in Lima, Peru.
This is a conference aimed at students to systematize the writing and presentation of practical cases in order to serve as case studies for teaching and learning.
In this 15th edition, which is an annual initiative of the
International Association for Public and Non-Profit Marketing
, two groups took part under the supervision of Professor
Beatriz Casais
, from EEG's Management Department, as part of the
Public and Social Marketing course
. One of the groups, made up of Francisca Mora, Sofia Faria and Joana Branco, presented a paper entitled "Social marketing in the case of the Portuguese Federation of Benevolent Blood Donors (FEPODABES)". The group of students Clara Sofia Barros, Marta Valério and Rui Pedro Silva, who won the prize for best communication in the session they were part of, session 8, presented the work "Analysis of the campaign
"The best gift is to be present"
, a social marketing campaign by the National Road Prevention Authority" and which deserved the attention of the jury of this international case congress.
For Beatriz Casais, the EEG students' tutor, "this is a very enriching experience for the students, as they learn from practical cases and develop the analysis of these cases in a format that future students can also learn from".
EEG congratulates the winning students and the other students who took part in this international initiative, as well as the tutor, Beatriz Casais.
