On June 4, 2024, the 3rd year students of EEG's Marketing
Degree presented their final degree projects, applied to the company Petruz - a
multinational açaí marketing company. The project consisted of assessing the
potential and how to operationalize the brand's penetration of the Portuguese
market through the B2C sales business model. During the presentations, the ten
groups of students discussed proposed solutions to the management problem with
the brand's representatives in Portugal, which included rebranding, product
reformulation, packaging, omnichannel communication actions, e-commerce
development and strengthening distribution channels, as well as some pricing
adjustments.
The committee of tutors for the applied project was made up
of professors Beatriz Casais, who coordinated the course, António Azevedo,
Elisabete Sá, Hélder Ferreira, José Carlos Pinho, Jorge Campos, Pedro Amarante
and Maria Teresa Heath.
Congratulations to all the students who completed this
challenge and thanks to the partner company in the Marketing Project.
EEG would like to thank Petruz for their partnership and
congratulate the students on their work, which demonstrates the quality of the
training offered by the School of Economics and Management of the University of
Minho.
