BIP
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are a type of academic mobility promoted within the Erasmus+ programme, which combines face-to-face and virtual learning to provide short-duration but high-impact international experiences. These programmes bring together students and academics from different European institutions to work, over several weeks, on a common academic project that involves a preparatory online component and an intensive face-to-face phase, generally with a minimum duration of five days. The hybrid format allows for collaborative preparation at a distance, followed by physical immersion in a multicultural environment, enhancing both academic learning and cultural exchange.
COIL
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a pedagogical methodology that promotes collaboration between students and academics from different countries through digital learning environments. This approach enables different higher education institutions to work together virtually on academic projects with mutual objectives. COIL projects represent an opportunity to develop skills such as intercultural communication, digital literacy, critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
Twinning
Twinnings consist of international mobilities between two groups from two ARQUS universities, who visit each other reciprocally to carry out a common programme and share learning experiences. These initiatives aim to strengthen thematic collaboration between academics and students through joint activities in short-term mobilities, and foster the sharing of good practices and co-creation of knowledge.
