EEG welcomes new Bachelor's and Master's students
Back
Friday, 9/20/2024
The School of Economics and Management (EEG) of the University of Minho welcomed the new undergraduate students in a new format, between September 6 and 13, 2024.
During these welcoming days, EEG planned a series of distinctive activities and, for the first time, EEG organized a welcoming week for its freshmen. There were a wide range of activities that took place from Friday to Friday. The stated aim of this initiative is to contribute to the success of our students by anticipating and acting preventively in situations of potential school dropout; i.e. to promote the academic success of students enrolling for the first year for the first time.
On September 19, 2024, the EEG welcomed its Master's students.
The new students of EEG's Master's programs were welcomed at 3:30 p.m. in a welcoming session that included a speech by the President of the School of Economics and Management, Luís Aguiar-Conraria, and the Vice-President of the Pedagogical Council, Rita Sousa. The new students learned a little more about how EEG works, including the EEGenerating Skills Program and the EEG Data Analysis Program (EEG DATAPro). This was followed by sessions with the Course Directors of the respective master's degrees.
