editorial initiative, already in the second issue, is considered "a
student project for students". Founded in 2016 by João Carvalho and Rita
Sampaio, students of MIARQ_EAUM, Diagonal "intends to awaken critical
thinking, expose the work produced in the school and make known what is good
about architecture outside the media circle of the specialty."
