Márcia
Alexandre Matos Fonseca Lima, pursuing the Bachelor in Economics of the School
of Economics and Management of the University of Minho was distinguished by
Banco de Portugal with the "Professor Jacinto Nunes Award 2019".
The
Professor Jacinto Nunes Award distinguishes, annually, in each one of the
selected educational institutions, the student who obtained the best final
score in the Bachelor in Economics in the previous school year.
The
winners were honoured in a solemn session convened on 21 November 2019, at the
headquarters of the Banco de Portugal in Lisbon.
The session was hosted by the
Governor of Banco de Portugal, Carlos da Silva Costa.
With
this award, Banco de Portugal intends to contribute to the recognition of merit
in an area of fundamental studies for the mission in maintaining price
stability, promoting financial stability and advising the Government in the
economic and financial related areas.
