The books "European Regional Policy and
Development Forgotten Regions and Spaces" and "Regional Development
and Forgotten Spaces Global Policy Experiences and Implications" were presented
on 16 October at the School of Economics and Management. The books were co-edited by Paulo Reis
Mourão, Professor in the Department of Economics and Researcher at the Research
Centre for Economic and Business Policies (NIPE), in collaboration with Carmela
Sanchez and Bruno Varela, from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
The session took place in a hybrid format and
included speeches by the President of the School of Economics and Management,
Cláudia Simões, and Xoan Doldan, Director of the Faculty of Economic and
Business Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela, as well as a
Round Table organised by the authors of the books.
