AI IN TEACHING - AILab
On January 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., the School of Economics, Management, and Political Science (EEG) will host the first public session of AILab, an academic project dedicated to the application of Artificial Intelligence in the context of Higher Education, in the EEG Auditorium, Building 8, University of Minho, Gualtar Campus.
The main objective of the project is to enable UMinho students to create Artificial Intelligence assistants applied to curricular units, promoting new forms of learning and study support.
This first session will have a practical format, dedicated to the creation of an AI assistant applied to the Marketing curricular unit, allowing participants to explore the potential of these tools in supporting their academic journey.
The session is aimed at students of the University of Minho and is part of the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in higher education, both pedagogically and technologically. The initiative was developed by students of the EEG Management Degree, with the support of the EEG.
