Diogo de Lima discusses communication in marketing at EEGConnect session Back

Diogo de Lima, Brand Manager at SC Braga, was the guest speaker at the EEGConnect session: Rhetoric and Persuasion – Communication in Marketing, which took place at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho, bringing together students interested in the areas of marketing, communication and branding.

Promoted with the support of NEMKT – Marketing Student Centre, the session focused on the analysis of communication strategies applied to marketing, highlighting the elements that influence the construction of effective messages and the relationship between brands and audiences.

Throughout the presentation, the speaker addressed different dimensions of the communication process, namely the credibility of the sender, the role of emotions in connecting with the audience and the importance of structured and consistent argumentation, illustrating the content with examples from the professional context.

Diogo de Lima has a degree in Global Marketing from IPAM and a master's degree in International Marketing & Brand Management from Lund University, having developed an international career in marketing and brand management. He currently works as Brand Manager at SC Braga.

The session was part of the EEGConnect programme, within the scope of the EEG Transversal Skills Development Programme (EEGenerating Human Skills), which promotes closer ties between academia and professional practice.
