Paulo Macedo, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), participated in a session of the High Impact Leaders Programme, an initiative developed in partnership by UMinhoExec, ISEG and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, aimed at training and developing leaders within the banking institution.
The programme is aimed at more than 800 CGD managers and aims to strengthen their strategic skills, preparing them for the challenges of contemporary management through an approach that combines academic knowledge with practical experience.
The session featured institutional speeches by the President of the School of Economics, Management and Political Science of the University of Minho, who highlighted the importance of the link between academia and organisations, and was closed by Miguel Rodrigues, Director of UMinhoExec, who emphasised the impact of the programme on the training of leaders with strategic vision and decision-making skills.
The meeting was also marked by the awarding of diplomas to three classes that completed the programme, with a total of 75 certified participants. The diplomas were awarded by Antonieta Santos, Central Director of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, marking a moment of recognition of the participants' training journey.
The High Impact Leaders Programme reinforces the joint commitment of UMinhoExec, ISEG and Caixa Geral de Depósitos to the advanced training of senior managers, promoting leadership that is prepared to respond to the strategic, organisational and human challenges of the financial sector.
