The School of Economics, Management, and Political Science at the University of Minho held the opening session of the 6th edition of EEGuiding Your Way, a mentoring program that brings together students from the School and alumni who are currently working in the job market.
This edition of the program brings together 86 participants, including 43 mentors—EEG alumni with professional experience in various fields—and 43 mentees, current students at the School from different areas of study.
The participating mentors are mainly located in northern Portugal, but the program also includes alumni working in other regions of the country, such as Lisbon, and internationally, namely in Mexico, France, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, and Angola.
Throughout the program, mentors and mentees will share experiences, knowledge, and perspectives on the job market, strengthening personal and professional skills and promoting networking between generations of EEG students and alumni.
EEGuiding Your Way thus continues to establish itself as an important bridge between academic training and the professional world.
