The School of Economics, Management, and Political Science at the University of Minho is hosting the session “EEGConnect: Social Marketing,” to be held on April 20, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., in the dst Auditorium.

This session, organized by the Marketing Student Group as part of the Marketing Conference, aims to distinguish social marketing from traditional marketing by presenting practical examples of its application. The initiative also seeks to encourage reflection on the role of marketing in influencing attitudes, decisions, and behaviors that have a positive impact on society.

The session will feature Mariana Vilas Boas, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Porto, is currently a strategist at a marketing agency, and is pursuing a master’s degree in Marketing and Strategy, conducting research in the field of Social Marketing.

This EEGConnect session is part of the EEG Transversal Skills Development Program (EEGenerating Human Skills).
