The School of Economics, Management, and Political Science at the University of Minho is hosting the session “EEGConnect | Brand Positioning,” to be held on April 21, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., in the dst Auditorium.
This session, organized by the Marketing Student Association as part of the Marketing Conference, offers a reflection on brand positioning as a fundamental strategic tool in building strong, consistent, and distinctive brands. It will address the factors that influence consumer choices, as well as the essential elements for developing a solid brand identity.
The session will feature Teresa Lameiras, a marketing and communications specialist with over 35 years of experience and a nationally and internationally recognized career. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself in the automotive sector, having been responsible for the repositioning of the SEAT brand and the launch of Cupra in Portugal, as well as for managing the communications and branding of the various Volkswagen Group brands in Portugal. She was also a finalist for the European Marketer of the Year award from the European Marketing Confederation.
This EEGConnect session is part of the EEG’s Cross-Cutting Skills Development Program (EEGenerating Human Skills).
