The School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho is pleased to announce that António Costa, President of the European Council, will take part in the opening session of the 47th International Relations Colloquium on 28 April 2026 at 11h30 am.
As one of the leading figures in contemporary European politics, António Costa will be present at this opening event, contributing to the discussion on the challenges shaping the contemporary international landscape.
His address forms part of the International Relations Colloquium, which is themed “50 Years of Global Dynamics: Where Powers Collide, Shadows Linger and Europe Trembles”, bringing together leading experts to discuss global dynamics and Europe’s role in today’s world.
The initiative, organised by CECRI – the International Relations Students’ Association, forms part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the University of Minho’s Bachelor’s degree in International Relations.
