The School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho hosted a session in the CEOTalk EEG series featuring Alexandra Roeger, who holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Minho, and who shared her career journey and experience across various organisational contexts.
During the session, the guest spoke about her career in the fields of research, industry and public administration, highlighting roles she has held within the SONAE group, at the Esposende Municipal Water and Sanitation Services and at Esposende Municipal Council, where she held leadership positions, including that of Vice-Chair. She also spoke of her experience as Chair of the Board of Directors of Esposende Ambiente and of the Esposende CPCJ.
Currently an Executive Director at AGERE and Chair of the Board of Directors at BRAVAL, Alexandra Roeger shared her perspectives on leadership, management and decision-making in complex contexts, highlighting the challenges and opportunities associated with the public and private sectors.
The session provided an opportunity for reflection and the sharing of experiences with the students, reinforcing the link between academic training and professional reality.
