EEG in the Media | 4 to 10 May 2026
Back
Thursday, 14.5.2026
During the week of 4 May 2026, the School of Economics, Management and Political Science of the University of Minho recorded a strong presence in the media. Our faculty analysed labour market reforms and the impact of legislative changes, taxation policies and the country's attractiveness, as well as the political mobility of former local mayors within public administration. Internationally, significant coverage was given to analyses of the UK elections, transatlantic relations between Europe and the US, and geopolitical stability in the Middle East. The appointment of a new director for the UMinho executive school was also featured.
