According to the summary presented by the student, The empirically obtained results show that the characteristic leadership style in these restaurants tends to be authentic and that this style has not changed in the pre- and post-COVID-19 periods. In the aftermath of the pandemic, the strategies adopted were clearly reactive at first, and only at a later stage, most restaurants assumed a more proactive strategy. Emotional intelligence management has proved to be the cornerstone of all internal success in achieving high levels of affective commitment to the restaurant and its objectives. Exit intentions are strongly related to emotional detachment.
Leadership style is a crucial element in the overall success of the projects undertaken, so this study proposes the development of a "Convergent Leadership" style based on a common focus, identification with others, sharing results and purposes; similar interests, ideas and tendencies, and different backgrounds. But it also makes use of emotional intelligence to inspire others.
