Sofia Batista Ramos distinguished by the CFA Society Portugal

Sofia Batista Ramos
was awarded third place in the 3rd edition of the "CFA Society Portugal Ethics and ESG in Finance Award" for her dissertation "Investing in sustainability during the Covid-19 pandemic: Evidence for French mutual funds", carried out as part of the Master's Degree in Finance at the University of Minho's School of Economics and Management (EEG).
The thesis, supervised by Professor
Maria do Céu Cortez
, stood out for its excellence and relevance in the field of Ethics and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in Finance.
The theses submitted to the competition were assessed by a jury made up of leading professionals in the field, chaired by Dr. Rui Pinto, CFA, and including Dr. Adérito Oliveira, Dr. Ana Gomes, CFA, Dr. Filipa Saldanha and Dr. Beatriz Magalhães.
