The School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho (EEG) celebrates its 42nd anniversary on Tuesday, March 12, with a ceremony starting at 2:30 p.m. in auditorium B1, in Building 2 of the University of Minho, on the Gualtar campus in Braga.
The opening speech will be given by the President of the EEG, Luís Aguiar-Conraria.
This will be followed by the recognition of EEG members and the presentation of the EEG School Merit Award to students in the 2nd and 3rd cycle courses, the EEG Teaching Award and the EEG Research Award.
This will be followed by a lecture by Paulo Portas, Co-Founder of "O Independente" and former Deputy Prime Minister of Portugal, on the theme: "The 50th Anniversary of April 25: Changes in the World and Their Impact on Portugal's Strategic Definition".
The session will be closed by the Rector of the University of Minho, Rui Vieira de Castro
