The School of Economics, Management, and Political Science (EMPS) at the University of Minho is pleased to announce the EEG Research Day 2026, scheduled for
27 March 2026
.
The EEG Research Day is a strategic annual initiative that contributes to the School’s commitment to
internationalisation, European cooperation, and research excellence
, in line with the objectives of the
ARQUS European University Alliance
and the
Erasmus+ Programme
. The event provides a structured platform for disseminating research, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, and promoting sustainable academic collaboration within the campus and across borders.
The Call invites graduate students enrolled in Master’s or PhD programs to submit their research that reflects the scientific areas represented at EEG, including:
Economics
Management
Political Science
Public Policy
International Relations
European Studies
Interdisciplinary research addressing societal, economic, and governance challenges in a European or global context.
Submission Guidelines
Participants are invited to submit an
extended abstract
presenting original research, work in progress, or advanced research projects.
Abstracts
should be short (no more than 1500 words) and clearly outline the research objectives, methodology, and key findings or expected outcomes.
Submissions must be written in
English
; exceptional cases are considered when submitted research is developed within the framework of a programme whose language of instruction is Portuguese.
Submissions will undergo a
peer-review process
conducted by the Scientific Committee.
