Between 3 and 5 February, the School of Economics, Management and Political Science of the University of Minho hosted the Twinning UMinho – Vilnius University Business School, under the theme “Sustainable Leadership and Innovation: Empowering Future Changemakers”, an initiative that promoted international academic cooperation and collaborative work between students from both institutions.
Over three days, participants took part in an academic and training programme that provided an immersion in Braga's innovation ecosystem, including welcome sessions at EEG, campus visits and contact with different structures linked to entrepreneurship, sustainability and knowledge transfer. The programme included visits to Startup Braga and the Human Power Hub, as well as opportunities to share experiences with ToBeGreen and the Sustainability Office of the University of Minho.
The initiative combined a technical component, through seminars in the area of financial analysis and the development of group project work, with a cultural and networking aspect, promoting contact between students from different academic and cultural backgrounds.
The programme ended with the final presentation of the projects developed, followed by a moment of sharing and closing of the initiative, reinforcing the importance of these experiences in the context of international academic cooperation.This initiative is part of the internationalisation strategy of the School of Economics, Management and Political Science of the University of Minho, contributing to the strengthening of academic partnerships and the promotion of collaborative learning experiences in an international context.
