Ana Paula
Faria and Natália Barbosa, professors of the Economics Department and
researchers at the Centre for Research in Economic and Business Policies (NIPE)
of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho, were
awarded the Prize for Best Scientific Article in the 10th edition of
the Call for Papers on "The Impact of Science on Economy and Society in
Portugal" by the Office of Strategy and Studies (GEE) of the Ministry of
Economy and Sea and the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P.
The article
is entitled: Science and productivity in European firms: How do regional
innovation modes matter?
The prize
will be awarded by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education,
Elvira Fortunato and the Minister of Economy and Sea, António Costa Silva, in
the Ciência23 Meeting, on July 6th 2023.
